FYI ground bean sauce is basically the pureed version of soya bean or yellow bean sauce, so you can use them interchangeably.
Pan-fried Salmon with Soya Bean Sauce Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- 250g salmon cutlets
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 2 tsps minced garlic
- 3 bird’s eye chillies, sliced
- 2 slices ginger, cut into shreds
- 2 Tbsp ground bean/soya bean/yellow bean sauce
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tsps honey
METHOD:
- Drizzle oil in frying pan and fry salmon cutlets on medium heat, leaving the middle layer pink (per in video).
- Remove and set aside. Add garlic, ginger and chillies in frying pan and sauté until garlic is aromatic and slightly crispy.
- Add all other ingredients and cook until sauce is reduced and slightly thickened. Pour over fish and serve.
