Well I’m so glad I’d managed to once again coerce my good friend Cyn (http://thefoodpornographer.com) to do the judging for this competition. There were so many stunning entries it would have been near impossible for me to pick one.
First up, the winner of the Yoga 2 Pro laptop from Lenovo Australia and New Zealand in answer to the question – What Does Summer Mean To You? – comes from Kirsty Gilford –
“Summer means to me lazy days spent at the beach and beautiful views of the clear blue ocean, a refreshing gelato to cool off on a hot summer’s day, fresh prawns with my homemade seafood sauce and iced coffee from my local cafe to start off the day.” – Kirsty Gilford
Congratulations Kirsty on a very well-deserved win!
Here are the honorable mentions as selected by our judge Cyn –

I got into this “food thing” because of my determination to recreate the food of my Malaysian childhood, so it’s always a bit frustrating when my efforts are hampered by the non-availability of critical ingredients in Australia.
